QQ x HMX PEI (Bumblebee)

Built around HMX's latest generation tooling and dual-material housing process, the QQ x HMX PEI was developed to unlock the sound profile Qwertyqop had always envisioned from a PEI switch. The dual-material bottom housing, a nylon body with a PEI core, is one of the first uses of HMX's newly developed process, and gives the switch its crisp, lively top-out and bottom-out with a clean acoustic signature across the board. The PEI top housing sits on a new mold that took HMX months to get right, since PEI is notoriously difficult to injection mold. The result balances clarity and fullness: crisp but controlled, with the smoothness and consistency HMX is known for.
